Get Involved

Part of the Earth Month challenge to local businesses is to display environmentally friendly products, energy saving appliances, or services that they provide. Businesses
are encouraged to promote their environmental friendly products and services by offering to the public reduced pricing for the duration of earth month. Look for the
earth month challenge posters in storefront windows in order to know where to shop for environmentally friendly services and products. Businesses wishing to participate
can pick up the posters and other information from the Merritt City Hall.

Individual citizens are encouraged to take action by doing something positive for the environment. Councillor Hunter is interested in knowing what people are doing in regards to the Merritt Environmental Challenge.
